Ms. Zhang Wei is deputy director and curator of the Museum of the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo in Chuangchun, the capital city of Jilin province. Zhang is a member of the Public Program Committee established by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage and the Museum Volunteer Committee of the Chinese Museums Association. She also serves as deputy director of Museum Merchandise Committee of the Chinese Museums Association. Zhang’s research interests include issues in the museum’s public service, museology, and the history of Manchukuo. Zhang is a recipient of several awards from Jilin Municipal Government and Chuangchun Provincial Government for her professional and academic achievements in the museum field. Zhang holds an LLM, and earned her BA in the history of international relations from Northeastern Normal University.
