Bárbara Navarro heads the Public Policy, Strategy and Operations team at Google. Based in Hong Kong, the team oversees strategic regional outreach and cultural initiatives for the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Russia. Prior to being posted to Hong Kong, Navarro was Head of the Public Policy and Government Relations team for the South of Europe, and has also overseen the Google Cultural Institute’s projects across the broader region. Before joining Google, she was Director of Regulatory Affairs for Spain and Portugal at NBCUniversal. Navarro holds an Executive MBA from Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa/ International Graduate School of Management (IESE) at the University of Navarra, and a law degree from Instituto Católico de Administración y Dirección de Empresas/Catholic Institute of Business Administration (ICADE) at Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid.
