Mr. Chen Tongle is deputy director of Jiangsu Art Museum. Chen co-chairs the Exhibition Committee of the Chinese Museums Association. He is also the exhibition consultant of the History Museum of China, executive editor of the journal Art of Exhibition, and an adjunct professor at the Nanjing Academy of Fine Arts. Prior to his current post at Jiangsu Art Museum, he was the head of the exhibition department at the Nanjing Museum. His research focus is on museum exhibition design, and he has overseen major design projects at several leading Chinese museums, including the Nanjing Museum, Shanxi Museum, Gangsu Museum, Abacus Museum of China, and China National Industry and Commerce Museum. For his achievements in exhibition design, Chen has been awarded several honors by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the Chinese Museums Association, and the Ministry of Culture. Chen has been recognized as an exemplary expert by the Ministry of Culture. Chen received a BFA from the Nanjing Academy of Fine Arts in 1985.
