Mr. Cheng Yi currently serves as deputy director of Suzhou Museum, with his research focusing on archaeological objects of the Han and Tang dynasties and the regional culture of Suzhou. He has published over seventy essays in scholarly periodicals including Archaeology, Cultural Relics, and Tang Dynasties Study. He has authored one monograph and edited over ten anthologies and exhibition catalogues. He taught at the Shaanxi Normal University and from 2012 to 2015 conducted his post-doctoral research at the department of history, Nanjing Normal University. Cheng received his PhD, MA, and BA in archaeology from the department of history, Northwest University.
