Ms. Liu Wentao is deputy director of the Nanjing Museum, vice chair of the Exhibition Exchange Committee of the Chinese Museums Association, and secretary general of Jiangsu Museums Association. She has overseen projects including the “Meeting the West: Exhibitions from American Museums” Exhibition Expo and Forum held in Nanjing in 2014. Her research focuses on museology, particularly the essential roles that exhibitions and museum education play in creating visitor experiences and interpreting cultural diversity. Liu has authored many articles,
including “Museums’ Increasing Roles in Education” and “Museums’ Roles in Providing Public Cultural Services,” as well as two publications.
