Wang QizhiNanjing Museum

    Mr. Wang Qizhi is deputy director of the Nanjing Museum, overseeing the museum’s academic research and administrative management. His research focus has recently expanded to key issues in museology. He joined the Archaeology Institute of the Nanjing Museum in 1990, where he spent eighteen years studying archaeological record from the Neolithic era through the Han dynasty. He has led a number of important archaeological excavations, two of which won the annual national award of Most Important Ten Archaeological Discoveries. He has contributed to over twenty monographs, excavation reports, and journal articles. Wang received his BA in archaeology from Shandong University.
