Fu Zhongwang is the director of Hubei Museum of Art in Wuhan. He is also the deputy director of the Chinese Association of Art Museums Specialist Committee, China Sculpture Institute, and Sculpture Specialist Committee at China National Arts and Crafts Society, and a member of Sculpture Art Committee of Chinese Artists Association. He is a recipient of the Fellowship for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability from the State Council. He received his BFA in sculpture from the former China Central Academy of Arts & Design (now the Academy of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University). Fu was born in 1956 in Wuhan.
