Samuel KungShanghai Contemporary Arts Museum

    Samuel Kung is Chairman and Director of the Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art. Born in Shanghai and raised in Hong Kong, Kung has been engaged in the gem industry for over 40 years, and is known as a celebrated jadeite designer. In 2005, Kung established the Shanghai Contemporary Art Museum, the first private museum in the city. He is devoted to the promotion the appreciation of Chinese and international contemporary art and design, and hope to encourage cultural exchange between Shanghai and the world.
