Bárbara Navarro discusses the role of new technologies in making art and culture accessible at the 2015 Arts & Museum Summit.

Navarro heads the Public Policy, Strategy, and Operations team at Google. Based in Hong Kong, the team oversees strategic regional outreach and cultural initiatives for the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Russia. Prior to being posted to Hong Kong, Navarro was head of the Public Policy and Government Relations team for the South of Europe, and has also overseen the Google Cultural Institute’s projects across the broader region. Before joining Google, she was director of Regulatory Affairs for Spain and Portugal at NBC Universal. Navarro holds an executive MBA from Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (International Graduate School of Management, IESE) at the University of Navarra, and a law degree from Instituto Católico de Administración y Dirección de Empresa (Catholic Institute of Business Administration, ICADE) at Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid.
