    Wu Weishan is the director of the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) and a renowned sculptor. He currently serves as a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the Royal British Society of Sculptors, and the Society of Portrait Sculptors; vice president of Chinese Artists Association, president of Chinese Academy of Sculpture, and director of National Urban Sculpture Committee. He is also a professor and PhD thesis advisor. Wu is the gold medalist of the 2012 Louvre International Art Exhibition, winner of the Pangolin Award of the Royal British Society of Sculptors, the China Arts Award, and the Chinese Urban Sculpture Achievement Award. He is also an honorary fellow of the Hong Kong Chinese University and received an honorary PhD from Inje University, South Korea.
