Mr. Zhang Huiguo currently serves as deputy director of Shanxi Museum. He was editor-in-chief of The Overview of Shanxi Museum, among other publications. Prior to joining the museum, he worked for the Museum Section of Shanxi Province Department of Cultural Heritage. During his career, he was involved in drafting several five-year development plans for museums in Shanxi province. He has published over twenty essays in academic periodicals such as Chinese Museums and Chinese Cultural Heritage News. He was invited by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage to annotate the chapter on museum management in Chinese Museum Regulations. Zhang graduated from the museum studies program of Fudan University in 1995.
